Crathie Primary School serves a rural community, including Abergeldie, Balmoral and Invercauld Estates. Set in the heart of Royal Deeside, the school is surrounded by some of the most beautiful scenery in Scotland.
The buildings are traditional style and the original building was built during Queen Victoria's reign and opened in 1871. There are three classrooms and a small canteen where lunches are served. A large playground with grass, tarred and woodland areas provides exciting opportunities for outdoor learning.
